Tempura, the spiritual home

Hello everybody, this is chikae ella, the officer of Tempura SIM

Everyone has one’s home. Although you are away from home for working in a big city, the home town where you were born and raised will be a precious gem that is not to be forgotten at every count.

In Japan, there are many poems and sayings expressing longing for one’s home. These are expressing Japanese spirit that is sentimental and easily moved to tears.

No word necessary when facing the mountains of the hometown. The home mountains are blessing. ------by Takuboku Ishikawa

The hometown is the place that is imaged from far away, and the place to be sang sentimentally. -------by Saisei Muroo

There dwells freedom in the forest land. My blood gets excited by uttering this phrase.
Oh, there dwells freedom in the forest land. -----by Doppo Kunikida

Mountains where we chased field hare, and brooks where we fished crusiam carp. The dream coming back again now, the hometown being never forgettable. -----Tatsuyuki Takano

When we decided to build a small reed bed, we thought of setting a fragrance of the unforgettable reminiscence of the field of grass where we experienced our childhood. This is a place where you can feel at rest by yourself alone, or as a couple.

The reed bed sounding leaves rustle, clear brooks running through the reed, and the flight of white fluffy tuft coming on the wind.
Please get comfortable by lying on the wood bench,

Your heart will fly far to your hometown, and will be filled with great emotion with an air of nostalgia. Your small private hometown situated at a corner of Tempura. Please come and taste it.

We are looking forward to seeing you at Tempura.
